Mark Zuckerberg, the social media magnate, has just announced an exciting new feature on WhatsApp called “instant videos.” This enhancement lets users quickly and smoothly send short video messages to one another.
The process is as easy as sending a voice note. When users hit the voice note button, it will also reveal the choice to record a brief video message. After a few seconds of recording, the video will appear in a round format in the chat.
WhatsApp has also added a fresh feature that lets you edit sent messages. Users can press and hold a sent message, then select the “Edit” option within 15 minutes. An “edited” tag will appear on the modified messages, signaling that some alterations have been made, though the history of these edits will remain private.
Both instant videos and edited messages are shielded by end-to-end encryption. This provides a secure and private environment for users’ communications on the platform. These new additions undoubtedly make WhatsApp a more user-friendly application
