The Botim app, owned by Astra Tech, has partnered with JW Holdings, the company behind Ruba Digital (RD), an online retail firm in Pakistan. This partnership is great news for Pakistani expatriates living in the UAE who want to send gifts back home.
They can now easily shop on Botim’s online store, which has been integrated with RD. Gifts purchased through Botim will be sent to their loved ones in Pakistan via RD’s extensive network. This network covers over 130 cities with more than 150 outlets.
It is even better that they can pay for the gifts in up to 12 instalments, thanks to Shariah-compliant financing options. However, this payment facility is only for UAE-based users.
Abdallah Abu Sheikh, the founder of Astra Tech and CEO of Botim, is excited about this new feature. He believes it will make life easier for Pakistani expats in the UAE by helping them to send gifts to their friends and family back home easily.
This partnership also allows users outside the UAE to use Botim to buy consumer electronics from RD for delivery in Pakistan.
The CEO of JW Holdings, Muhammad Javed Afridi, is equally thrilled about this new venture. He believes it’s a great way for Pakistani expats to stay connected with their loved ones by sending gifts through the Botim app.
